Children in grades K-6 are invited to practice their reading or storytelling skills with a patient, supportive (and adorable!) listener: a certified therapy dog! Children can choose a book from the library or bring one from home; each reader will have around 5-10 minutes with their dog.

There is no registration required, but children will be asked to check-in upon arrival and wait for their turn. Coloring pages and books for browsing will be available. Children who have attended before are encouraged to bring their Pawsport  to continue collecting stamps for their reading!
